New High Q, Low Cap Ceramic Trimmer Capacitors

(Tucson, Ariz.) Nov. 19, 2004 - TUSONIX offers a new variation to its current line of 0538 Ceramic Trimmer Capacitors that delivers high Q and a capacitance as low as 0.8 pF.

Our latest 0538 model (0538-099A0.8-20), is .375" in diameter and .275" high, operates effectively at -55°C to + 125°C with a torque resistance of 1.0 to 6.0 oz-in. These trimmers are ideal for avionics, communications, crystal filters or almost any application requiring miniaturized capacitance trimming.

All ceramic construction with optically flat interfaces provides tuning smoothness not obtainable with compression type trimmers. The silver electrodes are intimately bonded to the top surfaces of the base and rotor. The terminals and other metal parts are nonferrous and silver-plated to provide excellent conductivity and trouble free soldering.
