(Tucson, Ariz.) April 22, 2003 - TUSONIX, Inc., introduces its new Press-In Ceramic EMI filter that suppresses unwanted EMI and allows a fast, mechanical bonding that is free from soldering. And, by offering an excellent alternative to the traditional soldering installation, these finely designed, knurled filters significantly reduce assembly costs.
TUSONIX's 4304 Press-In EMI filters are perfect for a variety of microwave and RF applications that include attenuators, oscillators, synthesizers and combiners. These EMI filters have a flange diameter of .156± .005 [3.96± 0.13 metric], an overall length of .625± .025 [15.87± 0.63 metric], and cover a variety of voltage, attenuation and capacitance ranges in a press-in mounting style.
Product installation recommendations (X-2656/9 Rev 0.) are provided to prevent damage to the component during installation. (Data Sheets of these parts are downloadable from the Tusonix web site. Search by entering part no. 4304 in data sheet section.)
Other Tusonix products include Solder Mount EMI Filters and Feed-Through Capacitors that cover a wide range of physical dimensions. Feed-Throughs are available in a broad range of capacitance values, EIA temperature characteristics and tolerances. Standard EMI Filters are available up to 100,000 pF with insertion loss up to 75dB at 1GHz. Working Voltage for standard Filters ranges from 50 to 500 WVDC at 125°C. TUSONIX offers diameters as small as 0.075in/1.91mm and an extensive selection of lead configurations.
